| About Me I'm a self taught contemporary artist from South Africa. My work, whether wax encaustic, mixed media, photography, printmaking or sculpture can be read as metaphorical narratives. I am enduringly fascinated with the intimate, sometimes quirky, at others idealised or even fraught relationships we have with the world around us. The different masks and personae we all wear, as well as those we project onto other people, animals and even places, are materialised metaphorically as well as in symbolic colour and texture. MORE |
